
Davidson Fellows Scholarship
The Davidson Fellows Scholarship is a prestigious award recognizing gifted students aged 18 or younger who have completed a significant piece of work demonstrating exceptional accomplishment in their field. The scholarship offers awards of $100,000, $50,000, and $25,000 to support further academic and professional endeavors.
🎯 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Davidson Fellows Scholarship, applicants must:

Age: Be 18 years old or younger as of the application deadline.

Citizenship: Be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States, a Permanent Resident of the United States residing in the United States, or be stationed overseas due to active U.S. military duty.

Project: Have completed a significant piece of work in one of the following categories:

Science
-
Technology
-
Engineering
-
Mathematics
-
Literature
-
Music
-
Philosophy
-
Outside the Box

Team Projects: Teams of two are eligible, provided both members meet the eligibility requirements and attend the awards events.

Commitment: Be able to attend an in-person awards reception in Washington, D.C., with at least one parent or guardian, or a virtual ceremony.
*Note: Projects involving human subjects or live vertebrates are not eligible unless specific conditions are met. Please refer to the Eligibility page for detailed information.
📝 Application Process
The application process consists of two parts:

Initial Submission:

Provide a brief description of the project to ensure eligibility.

Submit the initial portion as soon as possible to allow time for review and approval.

Full Application:

Upon approval of the initial submission, complete the full application by:

Inputting nominators' information and sending them their forms.

Submitting all category-specific requirements.

Providing a parent or guardian's information and sending them the parent approval form.

Note: Only one parent approval form is required per team member for team submissions.

*Important: The Davidson Fellows Scholarship does not accept community service projects or descriptions of future majors or occupations. Additionally, Google products (e.g., Google Docs and Google Videos) are not accepted. Please refer to the How to Apply page for detailed instructions.

2026 Application: The application for the 2026 cycle will open in Fall 2025.
