Flavorful Futures Scholarship

The Flavorful Futures Scholarship, sponsored by Sparkling Ice® and Talking Rain Beverage Co., is a national program designed to support high school seniors who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities and beyond. The scholarship offers $5,000 awards to students pursuing higher education in various fields.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Flavorful Futures Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.

  • Academic Standing: Must be a high school senior graduating between August 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025.

  • GPA: Must have a cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

  • Enrollment: Must plan to enroll as a freshman or first-year student in Fall 2025 at an accredited U.S. institution (2-year, 4-year, trade, or vocational school).

  • Family Affiliation: Applicants must not be relatives or dependent children of employees of Talking Rain or its retail customers.

📝 Application Components

Applicants are required to submit:

  • Video Submission: A 3-minute video introducing themselves, discussing their passion, and explaining how it will influence their future and community.

  • Focus Pillar: Choose one of the following focus areas or propose a unique passion:

    • Sustainability Initiatives

    • Diversity and Inclusion

    • Community Involvement

    • Other – Share your unique passion and how it will drive your future.

  • Essay: A written response elaborating on the chosen pillar and how the scholarship will aid in achieving future goals.

Applications are evaluated based on academic achievement and the creativity of student submissions.

  • Application Deadline: January 31, 2025, by 3:00 PM (Pacific Time).

💰 Scholarship Details

  • Award Amount: $5,000

  • Usage: Funds can be applied to tuition, fees, books, and supplies at an accredited U.S. institution.
