Realty Hop Scholarship

The RealtyHop Scholarship is an annual merit-based award offering $1,000 to eligible undergraduate students and high school seniors in the U.S. pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree. The scholarship aims to recognize students who demonstrate ambition, diligence, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit—values central to RealtyHop's company culture.


📝 Scholarship Details

  • Award Amount: $1,000 per application cycle

  • Number of Awards: Two per year (one per application deadline)

  • Application Deadlines:

    • April 30

    • August 31

  • Notification: Winners are notified within 30 days of each deadline

  • Optional Internship: Recipients may have the opportunity to participate in a part-time or full-time internship with RealtyHop, scheduled up to 12 months from the notification date

  • Award Payment: The scholarship check is made payable to the recipient's eligible institution of higher education


🎓 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the RealtyHop Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a current student in an eligible undergraduate program or a graduating high school senior in the U.S., working towards a bachelor's or associate degree

  • Apply using your school email address. If your school does not provide one or does not allow students to send/receive external emails via the school-affiliated email address, you may still apply using your personal email. You will ultimately need to verify your eligibility upon submission via a PDF file of your acceptance letter or proof of enrollment

  • Demonstrate ambition, diligence, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit


✍️ Application Process

  1. Essay Submission: Write an essay under 500 words responding to the following prompt:

    “Imagine yourself 10 years in the future after having graduated college and living the life of your dreams: find a listing on RealtyHop you picture yourself living in and write what your favorite room or feature is on the listing and why it is important to your future life. Please provide a link to the listing.”

  2. Application Form: Submit your essay along with the completed scholarship application form.
