Beyond the ordinary

The Doodle for Google contest is an annual art competition that invites students in grades K–12 to redesign the Google homepage logo based on a specific theme. The contest encourages creativity and offers significant prizes, including a college scholarship and a technology grant for the winner's school.

  • Theme for 2024: "My wish for the next 25 years..."

  • Eligibility: Open to U.S. students in grades K–12, including those in U.S. territories, freely associated states, and children of U.S. military personnel abroad.

  • Submission Deadline: March 21, 2024, 11:59 p.m. PST.

  • Submission Methods:

    • Online: Upload your Doodle and completed entry form via the Doodle for Google website.

    • Mail: Send your Doodle and entry form to:

  • National Winner:

    • $30,000 college scholarship.

    • $50,000 technology grant for their school.

  • National Finalists:

    • Five students will receive special awards aligned with Google values:

๐Ÿ“ How to Enter

  1. Download the Entry Form: Obtain the official entry form from the Doodle for Google website.

  2. Create Your Doodle: Use any medium to design your Doodle that represents your wish for the next 25 years.

  3. Write an Artist's Statement: Compose a 50-word or fewer statement explaining your Doodle.

  4. Submit Your Entry:

    • Online: Upload your Doodle and entry form as a JPG or PNG file.

    • Mail: Send your Doodle and entry form to the address provided above.


๐Ÿ“Œ Important Notes

  • One Entry Per Student: Only the first Doodle submitted will be considered.

  • Original Work Only: Submissions must be original and not contain copyrighted material.

  • Parental Consent: Minors must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

  • Digital Submissions: If your Doodle includes video or audio elements, upload the file to Google Drive, share it with viewer permissions to d4g2024judges@google.com, and include the link in your entry form.
